The Significance of Love

Posted on May 6, 2020 by Rev Jonathan Smith

“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10.10 I wonder if it could be said that the author of the Gospel of John was an expert in producing soundbites or memorable catchphrases… short and snappy… Continue Reading →

St Mark on the Park

Dear All
I hope everyone is safe and well as we move through this darkest of Januarys. At the heart of this Epiphany season is mystery made known. I am sure many of us are living with a sense of mystery, wondering why and how it is that our lives are so reduced and the modern world appears powerless in the wake of the pandemic. Yet, the vaccine does provide us with light and hope and I know some of you have already received yours.

But beyond the vaccine is the mystery that has been hidden throughout the ages and generations now revealed to the saints..the word of God. (Colossians 1.26) God's word to us is a vaccine, a cure for our souls...and you don't even need to wait to be called, for in Jesus, God is calling you now. Amen.

There is no 'in person' worship until next month at the earliest. Online worship this Sunday is at 10.00am on the Facebook site and will be available thereafter on the website. Coffee and chat follows at 11.00am via zoom. All are welcome to join. The Zoom is
open for an hour but feel free to come and go as you wish.

There will be Mid Week prayers and a short study via Zoom on Wednesdays starting this week, Wednesday 20th January.
