A Warm Welcome Awaits

Whether you’re curious about faith, looking for community, searching for hope, or simply wondering what church is like, we’d love to welcome you to St Mark’s.

At St Mark’s, you’ll find a friendly and hospitable family of faith at the heart of Caia Park, with Caia Park at heart. We are people of all ages and backgrounds who come together to worship God, support one another, and serve our local community.

You don’t need to know what to do, what to say, or even what you believe. You don’t need special clothes or church experience. Just come as you are.

Our main Sunday service is an act of worship, with prayer, scripture readings, teaching and Holy Communion. The service is welcoming, relaxed and accessible, whether you have attended church all your life or stepping through the doors for the very first time.

After the service, we stay for refreshments and conversation. It’s a great opportunity to meet people, ask questions, and get to know the St Mark’s community.

More than a Sunday service…

Church life at St Mark’s extends beyond Sunday mornings. As a church rooted in the community, we seek to serve and support the people of Caia Park through friendship, practical help, fellowship and prayer.

Many people who first come to a service find not only a place of worship, but a community where they can belong.

What do I wear?

Come as you feel most comfortable. We are a relaxed church so people come in anything from a suit to jeans and a t-shirt. All we ask is that whatever you wear is respectful.

Can I bring children?

Absolutely. We welcome children of all ages. If you need to get up during the service to attend to them, that is perfectly fine. We want children to feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the community here at St Mark’s.

What if I arrive late?

Don’t worry about it. Services start at 11am, but we all run late from time to time. Turn up when you can and someone will come and greet you and provide you with all the information you need for the service.

How long does the service last?

Our 11am service on a Sunday lasts around 1 hour. Afterwards there are refreshments where all are welcome to stay and meet one another informally.

Is there parking?

There is a small car park in front of the church, however, there are plenty of parking spaces for non residents in the streets around the church. Please be respectful of our neighbours when you park. There is also a local bus service which stops less than 1 minute walk away.
