Your wedding day is one of life’s most memorable occasions, and a church wedding offers a beautiful and meaningful way to celebrate your commitment before God, family and friends.
At St Mark’s, we believe that marriage is a gift from God and a lifelong partnership built on love, trust and faithfulness. A church service places these promises at the heart of your wedding day and surrounds them with prayer and blessing.
Our priest will work closely with you throughout your preparations, helping you plan a service that is personal, joyful and reflective of your relationship.
Wedding Blessings
We also provide blessing services for those who have had civil marriages and civil partnerships and would like God’s blessing on their married life. We are an inclusive church and will make these arrangements with all couples in loving relationships. You may also wish to organise a blessing service for a significant anniversary. We can discuss services of blessing and thanksgiving that offer an opportunity to celebrate your commitment and ask for God’s blessing on your life together.
