the Friends of Caia Friars \u2013 Expressing our commitment as a community working together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-theme-palette-5-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d7243e9d31df8e9a0ac29980ea3b2bd1\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Caia Friars are a Christian order (The Order of Caia Friars).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-theme-palette-5-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-26df0d728b22cde99503a3cacfb3e838\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Friends of the Friars, share together with members of the Order a loving concern for the Caia Park community<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-theme-palette-5-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7f426c41d2059bc69d948c5b534d3008\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>The Friars affirm their faith, as expressed in the historic Creeds of the church<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-theme-palette-5-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0126b735a1dcca58caa767cf11f2662d\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>The commitment is recognised as being \u2018for a season\u2019, not necessarily, lifelong.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\"><strong>Disciplines<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">Prayer by the Friars<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">A&nbsp;<strong>Daily&nbsp;<\/strong>Office to be used a framework for prayer each day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">A&nbsp;<strong>monthly&nbsp;<\/strong>diary of prayers will be provided for use by Friars with a theme for each week.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">Most Friars belong to a WhatsApp group to help them to keep up to date with their prayers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">Attendance&nbsp;<strong>once each term&nbsp;<\/strong>at Mark on the Park Prayers (there are 4 such gatherings each term)&nbsp;<em>or an act of worship at St Mark\u2019s or another church on the Park.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">Community service for Friars and Friends of Friars.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\"><strong>A demonstration&nbsp;<\/strong>of a practical concern by participating in a ministry on Caia Park, which could be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">Working on the Park and being a good colleague<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">An outreach ministry of the church eg. Current ministries include Food Bank, Holiday Hunger, Kid\u2019s Klub, Tin Can, Bingo or importantly for some but not all, a commitment as part of a worshipping congregation on Caia Park.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">A voluntary organisation serving the community of Caia Park eg. Brownies, Youth groups, play schemes, Caia Park Partnership, Deva House.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">Living on Caia Park and being a good neighbour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">An&nbsp;<strong>annual&nbsp;<\/strong>meal would be held together for Friars and Friends of the Friars at which there could be an exhortation and also a welcoming of new friars<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\"><strong>Caia Friars&nbsp;<\/strong>does not represent a dilution of the Friar\u2019s commitment to their home church.
