About St Mark’s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

St Mark’s Church stands at the highest point of Caia Park, Wrexham, and has been serving the local community since it opened in 1962. As part of the Wrexham Mission Area and the Diocese of St Asaph, the church exists to make known the Good News of Jesus Christ through worship, community engagement, practical support and compassionate service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone is welcome at St Mark’s. Whether you are exploring faith, looking for friendship, seeking support, or simply wanting to become part of a thriving community, our doors are open to people of all backgrounds, faiths and none.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faith in Action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our faith is not confined to Sunday Worship. We believe God’s love is best shared through practical service, compassionate care and active involvement in the life of our community. Every week we seek to put our faith into action through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A Renewed Community Hub<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Following a major redevelopment project supported by grants, charitable funding and community investment, St Mark’s has been transformed into a modern and accessible community hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Improvements include a new roof, upgraded heating system, accessible facilities, ramped access, refurbished meeting spaces, and a modernised kitchen. These enhancements allow the church to expand its community activities while remaining a place of worship at the heart of Caia Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Today, the renewed building provides space for worship, social activities, clubs, food support programmes, educational events and community projects, helping to bring people together and strengthen local life.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    Looking to the Future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In 2026, Father David Morris, former Bishop of Bardsey, was licensed to serve the parish, bringing a wealth of pastoral and leadership experience to the church’s ongoing mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
